When actor Tom Cruise was filming the movie “The Last Samurai” in Taranaki, he was heard to utter, “Why would anyone not want to be here?”
One reason is that there is a New Plymouth Lone Star.
Facing north on Gill St, about a block from the rugged New Plymouth beach in a building often referred to by locals as the ‘Twin Towers' and once the home of the IRD, Lone Star New Plymouth comfortably seats 120 guests with room for more in the Taranaki Room, which doubles as a function room, private dining room or business centre. They also have a sheltered, sun-drenched outdoor patio, an ideal area to enjoy a couple of quiets in.
As is the case in every Lone Star, children are always welcome and have their own menu to choose from.
Visit Lone Star New Plymouth for a pre dinner drink, check out the Heroes Wall and have a night to remember.
